This is a lovely pair of vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl, marcasite and silver art nouveau screwback earrings.

The pearls are petite and measure 3.50mm and have good luster and light pink overtones. They are a cream/white color. Each earring has a floral design with black marcasites, non are missing.

They are stamped "800" for silver that is slightly less pure than sterling. They are screwbacks. Total size is 3/8 inch. From the 1940's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
