This is a stunning mid-century Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.

The pearl is 6.50mm round. It has mirror like luster with extremely bright rosy overtones.

It is made of solid sterling. Stamped "SILVER" and older Japanese mark for sterling. Measures 2Inch across. Lovely textured detail highlighted by high polished areas. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
