This is a lovely example of an opera length Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl necklace.
The pearls are fairly petite and measure 5.50-5.75mm. They are round with fantastic luster and bright rosy pink overtones. Light to medium amount of natural blemishes.
Clasp is barrel/tube style with a safety bar. It is in solid yellow gold is stamped "14K". Total length is 29 inches. From the 1940's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
