Pearl Care
Can pearls be worn every day?
Pearl can be worn every day but will require periodic restringing. Do not wear them in the ocean, pool or shower as it will damage the silk string. Be mindful of any chemicals, soap, perfume or lotion as it can gradually wear down the pearls and they will lose their luster.
Can I polish the clasp on my pearl necklace?
You can carefully clean the metal on your pearl jewelry by using a polishing cloth but avoid and harsh chemicals. If you really need to clean it use a small amount of white toothpaste on a q-tip to gently polish the metal. The ground marble in the toothpaste works as a polish without discoloring or damaging the surrounding pearls.
How do I care for my pearls?
Pearls are a soft organic gemstone and do require some special care. They should be periodically cleaned with a soft cloth to remove dirt, oil and other contaminants. Cleaners should never be used and water should only be used rarely. Perfume should never be sprayed after pearls are put on and lotions should be use sparingly. Pearls also have a small amount of water in them and can dry out if stored in a sealed safe or safety deposit box for too long. They should also be protected from extreme heat or cold.

We accept most major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shopify Pay and PayPal.
How long will it take to receive my jewelry?
Handling time is 1 to 2 days. Shipping is express and takes 2-3 days to arrive. Tracking will be emailed once the item is dispatched.
Where are you located?
We are located in Southern California.
Do you offer a warranty?
While we do not offer a specific warranty we stand behind all of our jewelry. If you experience a problem or need a repair Contact Us.
Authenticity
Can you guarantee the authenticity of your pearls?
The owner, Stephanie Bell is a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Graduate Gemologist who specializes in pearls. Each piece is thoroughly and no synthetic, costume or freshwater pearls are offered for sale. Each piece has been confirmed as genuine vintage saltwater akoya cultured pearl.
Is your jewelry true vintage?
Yes, all our pieces are vintage and not newly manufactured jewelry. They are identified by style, wear and provenance.
I am looking for something specific, can you help?
Of course! We are always available to help and can either create a custom order or help search for the unique you have always been looking for.
Where do you source from?
We mostly source from antique markets in California, Hawaii and Japan. We are west coast based! We also purchase estate collections and from individuals.
Do you test your silver and gold jewelry?
Yes! Our gold and silver jewelry is always tested and we rarely sell plated jewelry. We do not sell base metal or costume jewelry. All items will have the purity listed in the description.
Shipping
What do you charge for shipping?
We offer complimentary express shipping on all orders. We use USPS Priority Mail which typically takes 2-3 days to arrive anywhere in the United State. Please allow slightly longer for Alaska, Hawai’i Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Do you ship internationally?
We only ship internationally via our eBay store where we are a member of the Global Shipping Program. In the Global Shipping Program, eBay manages customs forms and forwards all packages from their hub in Illinois. Most countries are available except a select list of sanctioned and high risk locations.
Can you provide other shipping options?
Yes, please Contact Us before purchase if you need a different or more expedited service.
Do you require a signature upon deliver?
We only require a signature on order over $500. If you would prefer to add one for a smaller order please Contact Us before purchase and we would be happy to add it on at no additional cost.
Returns
Do you offer returns?
Yes, we offer (14 day) returns on all items. Please Contact Us and we will be happy to help. All items will need to be received back and in original unworn condition in order to receive a refund. No restocking charges are applied.
This is a gift. Can you offer an extended return window?
If you would like a longer return window we can usually accommodate. Please Contact Us before purchase for details.
My jewelry did not fit, can I return it?
Of course. While we can offer additional images and details before purchase sometime a piece just does not work out. Please Contact Us to start a return.
My necklace broke, do you offer repairs?
Not a problem! We offer restringing and repair on most of our pieces. We can also adjust the length or make other small modifications on necklace. Contact Us for additional details.
