This is a lovely vintage high quality Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brushed leaf modernist brooch.

The pearls are 6.25-7.50mm round. They are highly lustrous with bright rosy pink overtones.

It is made of solid sterling silver with a brushed texture on the leaf. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. It measures  2 1/8 inch long. From Japan 1950's-1960's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
