This is a petite strand of vintage Mikimoto saltwater akoya cultured pearls and sterling silver.
The pearls range from 5.50-5.25mm. They are round with good luster and rosy pink overtones.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver. It is stamped "S" in a square for silver and a large "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto. It is detailed with beading and a single pearl in the center. Total length is 13 inches. It is for a very petite person and will be a tight choker/collar length. From mid-century Japan.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
