This is a beautiful strand of vintage Mikimoto saltwater akoya cultured pearls and sterling silver.
The pearls range from 3.00-7.50mm. They are round with great luster and bright rosy pink overtones.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver. It is stamped "S" in a square for silver and a large "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto. It is detailed with beading and a single pearl in the center. Total length is 21 inches. From mid-century Japan.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
