This is a vintage strand of authentic graduated Mikimoto saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls range from 3.50-7.00mm. They are mostly round with great luster and rosy pink overtones. Some are slightly off round or drop shape. Old strand.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver. It is stamped "S" in a square for silver and a large"M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto. It is detailed with beading and a single 3.50mm pearl in the center. Total length is 20.50 inches. Early to mid-century Japan.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
