This is a lovely strand of authentic vintage graduated Mikimoto pearls.
The pearls range from 3.25-7.75mm. They are an off white/cream color with great luster and rosy pink overtones. Mostly round, but some semi-baroque pearls. Not the highest quality strand by Mikimoto but very old.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver and has beaded details. It is stamped "SI" for sterling silver and "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto. Total length is 20.50 inches. From Japan 1940's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
