This is a stunning authentic Mikimoto Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl winged brooch.

The pearls are 6.00-7.50mm round. They have great luster with bright rosy pink overtones. Nice quality. 

It is made of solid sterling silver and is stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square for sterling silver. It measures 2 1/8 inches long. From around mid-century Japan.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
