This is a stunning mid-century Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl & yellow gold tie bar.

The pearl is 5.75mm round. It has fantastic luster with bright rosy pink overtones. 

The setting is made of solid bright yellow gold. Stamped "K18"for solid 18K gold. Total length is 1 1/2 inch long and it weighs 3.6 grams. Has an attached safety chain. From Japan 1950's-1980's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
