This is a stunning mid-century Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.
The pearl is 6.50mm round. It has fantastic luster with bright rosy pink overtones.
The setting is made of solid yellow gold with rose gold tones. Stamped "K18"for solid 18K gold. Total length is 1 11/16 inches. Has an attached safety chain. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
