This is a lovely quality highly detailed Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl grape leaf brooch.

The pearls are 5.75-7.00mm. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones. They are round to semi-baroque shape.

It is made of solid sterling silver and is quite large. Highly detailed engraved leaves with milgrain accents. Stamped "SILVER". It measures 2 1/8 inches long. Comes in the original blue velvet box. From Japan 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
