This is a stunning double strand of vintage Japanese saltwater baroque akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls are semi-baroque to round and measure 7.50-8.00mm. They have a good luster with pink overtones and range in color from blue to gray. They are a medium saturation. They have a moderate amount of blemishes as is common with baroque pearls.
Clasp is in solid solid sterling and features a single 7.00mm round pearl in the center surrounded by braided details. It is stamped "STERLING". It has a lock on the side. Total length is 24 & 25 inches. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
