This is a vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl hat pin or stick pin.
The pearl is drop shaped and measures 5.75mm and has great luster and rosy overtones.
It is made of solid yellow gold with a twist detail. Not stamped but tested. It measures 2 1/2 inches long.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
