This is a cute modernist era Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl hat pin or stick pin.

The pearl measures 8.00mm and has great luster and rosy overtones. It is surrounded by a ribbon design.

It is made of solid sterling silver. It is stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. It measures 3.75 inches long. It has a safety chain attached to the pin cover. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
