This is a lovely authentic Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl swirl pendant.
The pearl is 7.25mm round. It has mirror like luster with bright rosy overtones.
It is set in solid sterling silver. Stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square for sterling. Total pendant length is 1 1/2 inch, 17 inch chain included. From mid-century Japan.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
