This is a vintage modernist Japanese cultured saltwater akoya pearl double strand necklace.
The pearls measure 6.00-6.25mm with good luster and light rosy overtones. Light amount of natural blemishes. White to cream color and very slightly graduated in size.
The clasp is solid sterling silver and is an unusual floral burst design, very mid-century. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling silver. Total length is 16.50 & 17.25in.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung. Clasp could us a polish if desired.
