This is a lovely large vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl cluster brooch with engraved leaves.
The pearls are 6.25-7.75mm round. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver. The leaves have a diamond brushed texture with hand engraved accents. It has a loop and can be worn as a pendant. It is stamped "SILVER" "950" for slightly more pure than sterling. It measures 2 inches long. From Japan 1950's-1970's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
