This is a lovely pair of blue/gray Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl ribbon screwback earrings.
The pearls measure 4.00-4.50mm and are slightly baroque. They have great luster with rosy overtones and lovely blue/gray color. The lower pearl moves freely.
They are set in solid sterling silver in a detailed ribbon design. Stamped "STERLING" for sterling silver. Drop measures 7/8 Inch. From 1950's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
