This is vintage strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls with a mid-century modernist clasp.

The pearls measure 6.25-6.50mm and have good luster with light rosy pink overtones. There are slight inconsistencies between the pearls.

Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a single pearl in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 18 inch. From Japan 1940s-1980's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
