This is vintage strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls measure 6.75mm and have good luster with light rosy pink overtones. Some pearls are more lustrous than others.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a single pearl in the center. It has engraved and milgrain details. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 16 inch. From Japan 1950s-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
