This is a strand of vintage baroque Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls, marcasite and silver.
The pearls measure 7.25-7.75mm with good luster and bright pink overtones. Some blemishes, tails and other features that come with baroque pearls. Cream to off white color.
The clasp is solid silver and stamped "835" for slightly less pure than sterling. There are black marcasites set on top. None are missing. Total length is 35.25 inch. From mid-century.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
