This is a stunning antique handmade victorian Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl filigree bracelet by Yamato Bros & Co.
The pearls are of various sizes and range from 5.25-7.25mm. They have good luster with light rosy overtones. Some blemishes and slight color variations.
It is set in solid sterling silver which is crafted into delicate hand made filigree. Most pieces now are cast and true hand made pieces are hard to find. This piece is very fine and took a lot of time to create. It is not stamped but solid sterling silver. Total wrist size is about 7 inches. Comes in the original velvet and silk box signed "YAMATO BROS & CO" "KOBE JAPAN". From Japan 1910's-1930's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung. A jeweler recently fixed a few missing pieces and it is in great wearable condition.
