This is a lovely pair of vintage Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl screwback earrings by Toyomoto Pearl.
The pearls are 5.75mm round. They have great luster with rosy overtones. They are surrounded a boomerang design reminiscent of mid-century design.
They are set into solid sterling silver with a 24K yellow gold plate. They are stamped "SILVER" on the back for sterling. Comes in the original red box that is signed "TOYOMOTO". It is in good condition. From the 1950's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. One earring has been repaired.
