This is a unique set of vintage blue akoya saltwater cultured pearl solitaire screwback earrings.
The pearls are large and measure 11mm and are baroque. They have good luster with light rosy pink overtones. They are a medium blue/gray color with white tones. They are an uneven color with splotchy coloration.
They are not stamped but tested solid sterling silver. They are in a wonderful clay prong style gothic setting. From Japan 1920's-1950's. Come in the original box signed "Tokyo" and a store name.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
