This is a a pair of vintage Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl screwback climber earrings.

The pearls are 5.50-6.00mm. They have very good luster, a white color and rosy pink overtones. They are semi-baroque with wrinkles and other natural blemishes. 

They are made of solid sterling silver and stamped "STERLING". They are set among an organic branch design. Total length is 1 1/4 inch. From 1930's-1980's Japan.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
