This is a stunning mid-century Tasaki Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.

The pearl is 6mm round. It has mirror like luster with extremely bright rosy overtones.

It is made of solid sterling. Stamped "T" in a clamshell for Tasaki and "SILVER" which older Japanese mark for sterling silver.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
