This is a stunning set of mid-century Takashima Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screw back earrings and pendant. Comes in original box with tag.
The pearls are 5.25mm round. They have good luster with rosy overtones. They are surrounded by silver cadges with the pearls free floating. They are stamped "SILVER" which is an older Japanese mark for sterling silver. Chain measures 16 inch.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
