This is a fantastic vintage Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl ring by Takashima.
The pearl measures 6.00mm and is a slight grayish cream color with light pink overtones. It is set into unique art deco style prongs and surrounded by hand engraved detail on the shank.
It is set in solid sterling silver. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older stamp for sterling. US size 5. Comes in the original box with S. Takashima Pearl Co. Sasebo Kobe, Japan. In good condition but has some staining due to age. Japan 1930's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
