This is a stunning mid-century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.
The pearls are 6.00-7.00mm round. They have mirror like luster with extremely bright rosy overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver and is very large. It can also be worn as a pendant. It measures 2 3/4 inches long.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
