This is a lovely unique stars and half moon vintage Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl brooch.
There is a single cream colored pearl that measures 5.00mm. It has good luster a cream color and light pink overtones. It is set into brushed metal with high polished hand carved star motifs. Back is signed "STERLING" and a designer I cannot make out. Measures about 1 3/85 inch across.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Could use a polish if desired.
