This is a classic Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl spray brooch.
The pearls are 4.50-6.25mm round. They have good luster with rosy pink overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver with engraved leaves and swirls. It is stamped "STERLING". It measures 2 inches long. From Japan 1940's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
