This is a cute pair of Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback drop style earrings.
The pearls are large and measure 8.50mm round. They have great luster with rosy overtones. They are attached to a silver bar that swings and moves.
It is set in solid sterling silver. They are stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total drop is just over 1 1/4 inch. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
