This is a stunning strand of authentic silver gray Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls are 7.00-7.50mm and round. They have good luster with rosy pink overtones. They are a medium to light blue/gray/silver color with a bit of blue/green mixed in.
Clasp is in solid solid sterling and features hand engraving and milgrain edging. It has a single 3.75mm cream pearl in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 16 inches. It is a choker. From Japan 1930's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
