This is a stunning vintage sakura or cherry blossom Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.
The pearls are 6.00-6.50mm round. They are lustrous with pink overtones. They are set into delicate handcrafted branches, leaves and a single sakura flower.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has a unique design. It measures just over 1 7/8 inches long. It has sand texturing to some of the design to give a contrast to the high polish metal. Stamped "STERLING".
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
