This is a stunning antique boho sakura or cherry blossom Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.
The pearls range from 4.75-5.25mm. They have soft luster and light pink overtones. It is set among detailed handmade flower petals.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has a handmade design. It measures 2 1/4 inches long. A lot of care was put into its design. Stamped "SILVER". And older stamp for sterling silver. Small repair on one of the flowers. A small repair was done on one of the flowers. Japan 1940's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
