This is a stunning and very unique Japanese baroque akoya saltwater cultured pearl necklace.
The pearls are graduated and range from 5.50-9.50mm. Very large for a graduated strand. They are a white/cream color and have excellent luster and bright rosy overtones. The have a few light blemishes.
Clasp is in solid yellow gold and is an unusual design and is set with pearls, natural ruby, natural emerald and natural blue sapphire. It is stamped "14K" "585" and a makers mark I cannot make out. It has a lock on the side of the clasp. Total length is 29 inches.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
