This is a lovely vintage designer Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl modernist brushed pendant.

The pearl measures 7.25mm and has fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones.

It is set in a solid sterling silver textured geometric design. Stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square which is an older mark for sterling. Total pendant length is 1 1/8 inch. From Japan 1950's-1980's. Chain measures 16 inch, it is stamped "925". It is not Mikimoto branded. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
