This is a lovely retro mid-century Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.

The pearl is large and measures 7.50mm round. It has mirror like luster with bright rosy overtones. It is featured on top of a sandblasted silver texture with floral engravings and milgrain edging. 

The setting is made of solid silver. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 1 1/2 inch.  From Japan 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
