This is a double strand of vintage baroque Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearls.
The pearls measure 5.50-6.50mm with good luster and light rosy overtones. Most are a very baroque shape with rings and other characteristics of baroque pearls.
The clasp is solid sterling silver and is a box style with engraved details and a single pearl on the center. It is stamped "SILVER" and has a side safety lock. Total length is 20.50 & 22.50in. From mid-century Japan.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
