This is a stunning mid-century retro bypass Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl ring.
The pearls are 6.00mm round. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones.
They are set in solid sterling silver with high polished silver and a high quality construction. It is stamped "SILVER", an old mark for sterling. US size 7 3/4. From Japan 1940's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
