This is a stunning vintage highly detailed peacock Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.
There are 16 pearls which measure 4.75mm. They have great like luster with rosy overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has a unique design. Each feather is cut out and has detailed engraving. Very large pin and measures just under 3 inches. It is stamped "SILVER" on the back.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
