This is a high quality stunning example of an old European cut diamond & Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl opera length necklace.
The pearls are lustrous with rosy pink overtones and minimal blemishes. They are fairly large and measure 7.50-7.75mm. Nice quality strand.
Clasp is in solid white gold and has a halo of old European cut diamonds. They measure about 2.1mm each for a total carat weight of around .35ct. They are not graded but are nice and white with very few inclusions. No noticeable chips or damage. The clasp has a unique tab lock and while not stamped is solid 14K white gold. Fine milgraining is on the edges surrounding the diamonds. Total length is 34.50 inch. From the early 1900's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
