This is a stunning art nouveau vintage flower Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.
The pearls are 4.50-6.50mm round. They have lovely luster with bright rosy overtones. They are set among a detailed and textured flower motif.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has hand engraving and texturing. It measures 1.50 inches long. A lot of care was put into its design. Stamped "STERLING". From Japan 1940's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
