This is a lovely vintage blue Japanese akoya saltwater blue cultured pearl wreath brooch.
The pearls are 6.75mm and are round. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones and are a blue gray color.
It is made of solid sterling silver and is stamped "SILVER". They feature hand engraved leaves and milgrain edging. It measures 1 7/8 inches long. Comes in the original hard clamshell Maruwa Pearl box.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
