This is a unique handmade art nouveau Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.
The pearls are large and measure 7.50-7.75mm round. They have good luster with light rosy pink overtones.
It is made of solid white gold. It has a swirling design hand engraved buds, leaves and stamped texture. It was hand assembled including hand soldering all the wire on the back. It is a unique piece. It is stamped "14K" on the back. It measures 2 3/8 inches long. From 1920's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
