This is a retro blue Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl tie bar by Nagasaki Pearl.
The pearl is 7.75mm round. It has fantastic luster with bright rosy pink overtones. It is a light blue/gray color.
The setting is made made of German silver which is a base metal and does not contain silver. Signed "G SILVER". The setting is a modernist design and has a button loop and safety chain. Comes in the original hard plastic and red silk box signed "NAGASAKI PEARL". From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
