This is a stunning mid-century strand of Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearls.
The pearls are 7.25-8.00mm and cream in color. They have good luster with rosy pink overtones. Some are a darker cream that others. Medium amount of natural blemishes.
Clasp is in solid yellow gold and hidden within two pearls. You press down on the center and it releases. The pearls on the clap are slightly more silver than the rest of the strand. It is stamped "14K" and a designer stamp that cannot be made out. Total length is 26.25 inches.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
