This is a lovely vintage mid-century Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl leaf cluster brooch.
The pearls are 5.50-6.00mm round. They are highly lustrous with bright rosy pink overtones. Nice quality.
It is made of solid sterling silver with a high polished texture. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. It measures 1 3/8 inch long. From Japan 1950's-1970's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
